7 Make no mistake about it, God will never be mocked! For what you plant will be the very thing you harvest. 8 The harvest you reap reveals the seed that was planted.c If you plant the corrupt seeds of self-life into this natural realm, you can expect to experience a harvest of corruption. If you plant the good seedsd of Spirit-life you will reap the beautiful fruits that grow from the everlasting life of the Spirit.
7 Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of salvation by his blood-the total cancellationa of our sins-all because of the cascading riches of his grace. 8 This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us and flooding into every part of our being, releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding.
3 Be free from controversial or pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don't allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. 4 Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to your friends instead of your own interests. 5 And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation.
2 My prayer for all of you is that your hearts will be wrapped in the comfort of heaven and woven together into love's fabric. The certainty of your faith will give you access to all the riches of God as you experience the revelation of God's great mystery-Christ unveiled within you. 3 For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered-heaven's wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.
