Search and browse for items that you would like to purchase

  • Browse

You can use the ‘browse’ button on the green menu bar (located at the top of every page) to browse through popular items like our e-stores, bestsellers, new releases, current catalogues and clearance items.

  • Search
    Search Bar
If you know the title, author, ISBN or Authentic Media catalogue number of a specific item, you can enter this in the red search box (located at the top of every page) to search for the item. You can narrow your search to a specific type of item by selecting an e-store from the select menu in the search box. This will help reduce the number of results for common words or authors, or assist when you are looking for a specific type of product like a Bible or music CD.

Our search results page gives you control to refine the search further using a category or sub-category, as well as sorting the results. To assist further it can also match themes and category names. So if you aren’t sure exactly what you are looking for, you can find related items using these options.
    Search Results
You can also look through our e-stores, categories and subcategories using the search tool. Simply select an e-store from the silver nav bar at the top of each page. Alternatively you can use the e-store/category links displayed on the lower left of the product details pages.
  • Advanced Search

Our advanced search provides more options for controlling the items that are returned as well as how they are displayed. Here you can search in specific categories or subcategories, control whether out-of-stock and out-of-print items are displayed, as well as search for specific songs or authors.

Using the shopping basket

  • Adding items to your shopping basket

You can add products that you would like to purchase to your shopping basket in two ways.

    Add To Basket Button

The first and easiest way to do this is to browse or search for the item and use the link ‘add to basket’, which appears on all search result pages. This will add a quantity of one of the specified product to your shopping basket. You can also click the red ‘add to basket’ button on product details pages (this allows you to specify a different quantity greater than one before clicking the button).

    Add To Basket Form

The second way is to manually add the item to the shopping basket. This can be helpful if you are ordering from a Authentic Media catalogue. From the shopping basket page, simply enter the Authentic Media catalogue number or product ISBN (if you have it handy) in the appropriate text box, update the quantity (if you wish to add more than one) and click the ‘add item’ button.

Once you have added an item to the shopping basket you should see the image, title, author, price and other information listed in the ‘Items to purchase now’ section.

  • Saving items for later

If you don’t wish to purchase a particular item at this point in time, you can move it to your ‘saved for later’ items, where it will stay until you move it back or delete it. Once you have added an item to your shopping basket, simply click the ‘save for later’ button on the right-hand side. You will see the item now appears in the ‘Saved For Later’ listing. When you wish to purchase the item, simply click the ‘add to basket’ button to the right. If you wish to order more than one copy of the item then you will need to update the quantity once you have added it back.

  • Logging in

Prices displayed in the shopping basket are based on the country that your order is being sent to (UK by default), any trade discounts and other factors. To see the most accurate pricing information available we suggest you log in using the ‘log in here’ link at the top of the shopping basket. Once you have logged in you will see your name displayed, and more accurate details will be displayed based on your location. You won’t need to log in again to place your order during this session.

For more help with logging in to your account, see section 4 below.

  • Note about cookies

Our shopping basket relies on ‘cookies’ in order to work correctly. If your web browser or firewall/anti-virus software is set to block cookies, then the shopping basket will not function correctly. Please also note that if you delete your cookies, any current items in your shopping basket or ‘saved for later’ items will be lost.

Placing your order

Once you have added the items you wish to order to your shopping basket you are ready to proceed through the ‘sales counter’. During this process we will take your payment method, confirm the order details and where it is to be delivered, and display your contact details. You can update any of your delivery or contact details during the sales counter process, these details will be displayed with appropriate options.

Proceed with order When you are ready, click the ‘proceed with order’ button. If you haven’t already logged into your account, you will need to log in. For more details on doing this see section 4 below.
  • Payment options

We currently only accept payment via credit card. In the future, more payment options may become available.
