For over 70 years Paternoster has been producing
first-rate biblical, historical and theological books for
both the church and the academy. Our books fall mostly within the
broadly evangelical stream of the Christian Church with
contributions from leading academics from all continents.
Our authors recognise the authority of the Bible, the centrality of
the gospel message and the classic creedal statements of Christian
faith. However, we aim to represent the diversity of evangelical
Christianity and so publish provocative and cutting-edge works that
explore the boundaries of evangelicalism and reflect current trends
in the church and theology.
