250 million Dalit people are caught in a trap of man's inhumanity to man. As a result of being born into the lowest caste, the Dalit people are left powerless to escape from poverty, oppression and slavery.


We see families who have been tricked into a lifetime of human bondage, living in single concrete pipes holding no hope for the future; families who work 14 hours a day for just ?4.00 a month; girls who are forced into sexual slavery for life in the Hindu temples and suffer both abuse and violence and child slaves, condemned to work in fields, factories or sweatshops making goods for their rich masters.
