Dying To Be There has been named Contemporary Album of the Year at the Christian Booksellers' Convention. thebandwithnoname overcame competition from US bands Switchfoot and Casting Crowns to achieve the award.

The Dying To Be There album has enjoyed critical acclaim since its release in February last year. Top Christian music website www.crossrhythms.co.uk welcomed it as "a pop music masterpiece".

thebandwithnoname tour extensively and hundreds of thousands of young people across the globe have now heard their no-nonsense presentation of the Christian message.

Band members Chip K, Straff, J and Leon are all passionate about God and the gospel. Their live performance is unrivalled in terms of energy and creativity and no matter whether they are performing in a school, church, theatre, prison, nightclub or even the Royal Albert Hall, they always go down a storm.
